My Kitchen
my kitchen

It's relief enough to finally be settled in my own place here, but I have been blessed with a beautiful, bright, big kitchen!
Anonymous Love Statements
typewriter

I was browsing in an antique store yesterday and came across this old typewriter. It's always fun to see what people type, trying out the machine. Typed on this old beauty was one line, in red ink:
Beverly is the love of my life.

Sigur Ros
I love Iceland, too, for birthing this band of beautiful sounds. They sing in their own invented language of "Hopelandic".

My Horoscope This Week.
Rob Brezsny of Free Will Astrology says:

The entertainment industry foists a lot of garbage on us. Stupid sex, gratuitous fear, and ugly violence are the norm. TV and film executives defend themselves against critics who accuse them of pandering to the lowest common denominator. "We merely give people what they want," they say. To put that lame excuse in context, I'll quote Henry Ford, the automotive pioneer: "If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." I hope that perspective inspires you to aim higher in the coming week, Sagittarius. Don't give anyone (including yourself) what they're accustomed to desiring; give them something better and more beautiful.

I Luv Curvy Jeans
I'm not one for corporate endorsements, but these jeans love me back! Finally, somebody actually thought about making jeans to fit the rest of the women in the world! Curvy jeans eliminate that awkward gap in the back of the waist for the millions of us that have a smaller waist than hips (how dare us). The rest of you can buy the "Straight" style-all three of you!
The Media release from the corporation I refuse to name.
